Our Mission
We support marginalized women in reclaiming their wellness and joy through somatic therapy, care, education and community with a focus on survivors of sexual assault and birthing people.
In Beaufort County, sexual violence impacts 1 in 5 women.
71% of South Carolina maternal deaths occur in the postpartum period.
"I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own." — Audre Lorde
Our Work
Somatic Healing for Survivors
Through trauma-informed somatic practices such as yoga, meditation, and Reiki, we support women and people with wombs in reclaiming safety and joy in their bodies. Our healing sessions meet survivors of sexual trauma where they are by offering holistic care that goes beyond talk therapy to address what lives in the body itself.
Redefining Postpartum
The postpartum period is one of the most vulnerable and underserved seasons in a woman's life. We provide free, community-centered postpartum doula support for women facing financial and systemic barriers to care because every mother deserves to be held while she heals. We also host educational workshops to support mothers in navigating birth and postpartum.
